Phil Hare: We Don't Need No Stinkin' Constitution.

Yes, dear readers...that arrogant son of a bitch is none other than Congressman Phil Hare (D-IL-17); a man who took an oath of office to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, from all enemies. foreign and domestic."

Seems that Phil Hare didn't figure himself in the equation when taking that oath.

Mr. Hare, who is surely ignoring his oath as he ignores the Constitution, should be tried for treason.

Leo, I just watched the video on your blog. I am so disgusted by Congressman Phil Hare! While in college, (please don't hold this against me) I worked for Congressman Lane Evans, who was in office for over 20 years. Phil Hare was his 'right hand' and I kid you not, he was a terrible person! He WAS the primary reason I changed my major from Political Science to Business Administration. Phil Hare had NO idea what he was doing then, and he had an affair with one of the young INTERNS! She was only 18 years old! Anyway, please keep that video...

Yes, same man who had me and two other 17-18 year olds choosing who got nominated to West Point Military Academy. I ASSURE you he didn't read the #HCR bill, and YES he is a liar.. It was in 1983, and he was 34 at the time. She was named **** and a student at Grinnell College (in IA). Phil's wife was Beckie Hare. I was working late one night and walked in on them in his office. After that he treated me terribly... I am sure he was so worried that I would tell his 'dirty secret!'

That was Lane's first year in office. Lane is very ill and has had Parkinson's for many years; now in a wheelchair. It is why he left office, and the only reason Phil was elected was due to Lane's support and fact that he was with him for so many years. Made me sick.

People like him do not belong in any elected office.

2 Year Anniversary of Harry Reid's Act of Treason

Today marks an infamous date in history: The day when a highly placed elected U.S. official, with U.S. men and women in harm's way, declared that we lost the war in Iraq:
He did this, of course, to give aid and comfort to those fighting our soldiers, ahead of the Bush-led surge in Iraq, so as to effect more U.S. troops coming home in body bags, so he could turn it to his and his party's political advantage.

Why this traitor hasn't been removed from a high-ranking leadership position, or better yet, placed in a stockade, is beyond reason.

What a scumbag.

As expected, charges against Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani have been dropped in the Haditha case, leaving only one marine with pending charges, Sgt. Frank Wuterich.

This has been a kangaroo court from the get-go, predicated on a story from Time Magazine whose source was an insurgent. Representative John Murtha (D., Pa-12), seeing a chance to get himself in the spotlight so as to fulfill his ambitions to be appointed House Majority Leader, latched on to the story like a monkey with a hand in a cookie jar, and bloviated on national TV, saying he had his information from "the highest level." This of course, was untrue, since Murtha went on Charlie Gibson before he was given any official military briefing on the matter, and came out and virtually convicted Haditha marines of cold blooded murder:

There was no coverup. There was no "massacre." Everything Murtha said in the Gibson interview was proven to be a complete set of falsehoods.

The day is coming when Murtha will no longer be able to redeploy himself to the nearest elevator.

The day is coming when Congressman John P. Murtha will have to answer for his reckless accusations made in the name of his own sorry political gain, that destroyed the lives of 8 Marines, who were fighting for their very lives in Haditha, and had to continue fighting for their lives upon their stateside return.

John Murtha's days of being the political boss of PA-12, the House Appropriations Committee on Defense, and other positions of largesse and prestige are numbered.

John Murtha has utilized the excuse that "the investigation is ongoing" as a means for cover from his having to answer for his actions.

I hold John Murtha personally responsible for laying a dubious cover of deceit under which the Democrat party was able to engage its anti-war, anti-troop, and anti-American pogrom, under which our enemies in Iraq and elsewhere became emboldened to carry on the fight much longer than they otherwise would have; in the process, killing more and more of our American and allied women and men than would have otherwise been the case.

Yes, it is my opinion that John Murtha has blood on his hands, and needs to answer for his misdeeds.

As the founding editor of this blog, I call on Congress to investigate John Murtha on exactly what he "knew" and when he "knew it" before coming out with his Haditha accusations and declarations of and implications of guilt. I call on Congress to investigate John Murtha of ethics violations and criminal charges in denying the Haditha Marines their Constitutionally-guaranteed right to the presumption of innocence, and to censure and strip Murtha of any committee assignments, and in turn demand his resignation from Congress.

My dear readers, as is evident by Murtha's long history of corruption, and now his foray into slander of innocents for political gain, it is more apparent than ever that now is the time that MURTHA MUST GO!!

The "surge strategy" in Iraq, despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the left, is becoming an unqualified success.

To whom will Harry Reid answer, after declaring "The Iraq War is Lost?"

To whom will John Murtha answer, after falsely calling our soldiers cold blooded killers, labelling them "broken"?

To whom will Nancy Pelosi answer, after trying to attribute recent successes not to our men and women in uniform, not to the Iraqis, who are slowly but surely building a stable government from scratch, but to sworn enemies of the United States; Iran, specifically?

To whom will the democrat party (and their willing media accomplices) answer, after doing their level best at every level to sabotage our soldiers' efforts in Iraq in the court of public opinion, up to and including slander and out and out betrayal?

To whom will the democrat party answer?

The day of reckoning will be nigh, when people will realize the traitorous filth that resides in the democrat party.

And that day won't come a minute too soon.

Good News: Nancy Pelosi begrudgingly acknowledges success in Iraq.

Bad News: Rather than crediting our generals, our soldiers on the ground, and Iraqis, what does the good little dhimmi (who just happens to hold the third highest office in the land), Nancy Pelosi, do???

She CREDITS IRAN. The same islam-o-tards who are helping to kill our soldiers in Iraq!

In an interview yesterday with the San Francisco Chronicle, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claimed the U.S. troop surge failed to accomplish its goal. She then partially credited the success of the troop surge to “the goodwill of the Iranians,” claiming that they were responsible for ending violence in the southern city of Basra.

Asked if she saw any evidence of the surge’s positive impact on her May 17 trip to Iraq she responded:

Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn’t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.

Apparently, it must be genetically impossible for a modern-day democrat to give any credit to our military nor to national foreign policy.

As a parent of a soldier who, along with his Minnesota National Guard compatriots (and Iraqis) did a helluva job getting the Anbar province under control, excuse me if I take extreme offense to Nancy Al-Pelosi's bald-faced treasonous vomit.

She needs to be bitch-slapped.

I was getting to the point where I thought I could no longer be surprised nor outraged at anything democrats did or said.

A Pennsylvania Democrat Congressman tells the Truth About Democrats and Iraq:

WIth Jack Murtha's call for surrender, Harry Reid's pronouncement that "The Iraq War is Lost!" ahead of the surge, along with every other democrat call for our defeat and surrender in Iraq, we conservatives in the Republican Party knew all along that the democrats were more than willing to sell out our nation's security and our soldiers's safety for cheap, political gain. Now, one democrat has finally admitted what we knew to be the case.

At a recent event, Congressman Kanjorski told a crowd the following about the Democrats 2006 election strategy:

"I'll tell you my impression. We really in this last election, when I say we...the Democrats, I think pushed it as far as we can to the end of the fleet, didn't say it, but we implied it. That if we won the Congressional elections, we could stop the war. Now anybody was a good student of Government would know that wasn't true. But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts...and people ate it up."

Keith Olberman calls U.S. Soldiers "cold blooded killers"

Talk about "brand names," dickhead, how about "blood for oil." How about "Cold blooded killers" (taking a page from Jihad Jack Murtha, I see, "sir.")

You, Mr. Olberman, "sir" are the worst form of maggot-infested, fifth-column journalist who would see the United States sold off to jihadists just as soon as look at it.

It is you, "sir" and your ilk who are giving jihadists a reason to climb out of their caves to kill and maim another day. The blood of innocents, "sir" is not on our soldiers, but on yours and every other terrorist-apologist leftist piece of filth who dons a microphone or who takes a phony oath of allegiance to the Constitution in one breath and then gives aid and comfort to our enemies the next.

Pot Meet Kettle

The DNC's pit-bullswine and all-around blowhard John P. Murtha had this to say about John McCain joking about an "IED gift" for John Stewart:

“Imagine a presidential candidate making a joke about IEDs when these kids are getting blown apart, it's outrageous!” Pennsylvania Democrat John Murtha fumes.

John McCain, of course, was a lot more civl in his response than he had to be:

“All I can say to Murtha and others is lighten up and get a life.”

Like I said, Senator McCain was a lot more civil in his response than he needed to be, or perhaps should have been. A fairer, more appropriate response to the gasbag, IMO could have gone something like this:

"Imagine a sitting member of congress pronouncing guilt of "murder in cold blood" on a platoon of Marines without any evidence or even a formal brifing, during a time of war, and giving aid and comfort to the enemy that wants them dead, all for the purposes of cheap, political gain."

So until "Jihad Jack" Murtha apologizes for becoming a recruiting tool for Al Qaeda, not to mention denying the basic civil right of presumption of innocence for those who have sworn to defend the Constitution with their very lives, then he has about as much room to talk as the space that exists between the crack of his bloated phat backside.

Proven: Democrats give Aid and Comfort to the Enemy.

From the “keen sense of the obvious” department at Harvard University, researchers at the Kennedy School of Government reported this week what anyone with a lick of common sense already knew: When Democrats and their Leftmedia instruments of propaganda openly condemn Operation Iraqi Freedom, they embolden our enemy.

The research team determined that the more strident the political dissention of OIF reflected in U.S. media stories or polls (read: “Pollaganda”), the more frequent were attacks against civilians and U.S. military forces in Iraq. Notably, in areas with greater access to international news media, the quantifiable increases were greater.

The report, “Is There an ‘Emboldenment’ Effect? Evidence from the Insurgency in Iraq,”, concludes that attacks increased between seven and ten percent following “high-mention weeks,” like the two before the November 2006 midterm elections, when Leftist political rhetoric was at full steam.

Since the onset of hostilities with Jihadistan, and particularly in the wake of 9/11 and our military response (OEF and OIF), I have written a few pointed essays about how Democrats and their Leftmedia minions lend support to our enemy with political fodder designed to appeal to their Leftist constituency.

Of course, there is a distinction between constructive criticism and traitorous rhetoric, but in time of war one must choose words to express dissent very carefully. In this respect, some notable Democrats have been reckless to the point of treason.

Until the current presidential campaign, the benchmark for spewing anti-American rhetoric against OIF was established by John Kerry, whose ‘04 campaign modus operandi went well beyond thoughtful dissent about OIF. He even poked fun at the competence of our warriors, claiming they were “stuck in Iraq.”

Of course, Kerry had plenty of experience providing aid and comfort to the enemy, beginning with his infamous anti-American activities during the Vietnam War, with his comrade “Hanoi” Jane Fonda.

Who better than General Vo Nguyen Giap, supreme leader of the North Vietnamese Army, to outline how Kerry and the Leftmedia embolden the enemy. In a 1989 interview with CBS, Giap recalled: “We paid a high price [during the Tet offensive] but so did you [Americans]... not only in lives and materiel. Do not forget the war was brought into the living rooms of the American people... The most important result of the Tet offensive was it made you de-escalate the bombing, and it brought you to the negotiation table. It was, therefore, a victory... The war was fought on many fronts. At that time the most important one was American public opinion.” (emphasis added)

In ‘04, Kerry was joined in his efforts to embolden Iraqi insurgents by a cadre of congressional Demo-gogues who continued to spew traitorous rhetoric.

A year ago, I participated in high-level security briefings with CENTCOM and SOCOM commanders, one of whom discussed the topic “Media as Terrain” —how our adversaries use the media as a battleground.

Shortly after that briefing, I penned an essay that pointedly condemned Democrats for aiding and abetting the enemy. In “Memo to the American Media from Sheikh Muhammad al-Zawahiri,” I focused on a most revealing quote: “I say to you: that we are in a battle, and that more than half of this battle is taking place in the battlefield of the media.” That quote was part of an intercepted and authenticated communiqué from Osama bin Laden’s chief lieutenant to the now-departed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Read that quote again, and let it sink in.

Yet Democrats and their media organs continue to crank out cover stories like “We’re losing” from Newsweek.

Indeed, Islamist leaders must be thrilled by the support they receive from America’s “useful idiots,” those card-carrying apologists for a socialist political and economic agenda—essentially, advocates for Marxist-Leninist-Maoist collectivism.

Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution notes: “Treason against the United States, shall consist in... adhering to [our] enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

When I raised my hand in preparation to serve my country, the oath I took was to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic... So help me God.”

According to General Giap, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and now researchers at Harvard, there is plenty of evidence that Demo-gogues and their Leftmedia talking heads have provided ample “aid and comfort” to the enemy.

There is already a petition to prosecute John Kerry for treason. Perhaps it is time to add a few more Demos to th list, starting with Kerry’s lapdog, Barack Obama.

As Congress reconvened, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) walked into a trap. He permitted anti-war Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) to bring up two Iraq troop-withdrawal amendments to the Defense bill, assuming Republicans would filibuster by blocking cloture. But Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) did the opposite, forcing an unwanted war debate and sending Reid's Senate schedule into chaos.

Harry Reid has the ability to screw up a one-car funeral, while simultaneously being able to stick his foot up his own arse.

If he weren't so incompetent he'd be dangerous.

Regarding the Petraeus Report

I haven't thus far commented on the Petraeus Report, since there were many minds greater than mine doing thusly.

It at once amazes and depresses me that elected officials of the United States of America, sworn to protect America and its Constitution, would, along with their political party of choice, so go out of their way to attempt to engineer the surrender of our nation during a time of war. Even so far out of their way as to label General David Petraeus, a man who has invariably served his nation with honor, a traitor.

Said Harry Reid,

"Before the report arrives in Congress, it will pass through the White House spin machine, where facts are often ignored or twisted, and intelligence is cherry-picked," said Reid.

Reid even had the audacity to call Petraeus a liar!:

"He has made a number of statements over the years that have not proven to be factual," Reid said.

Talk about a fucking pot calling the kettle black! Never, in my born days, would I expect such traitorous--YES I SAID IT--TRAITOROUS behavior coming from elected public officials supposedly sworn to protect and defend the United States!

And yes, I WILL continue to question their patriotism, and so should any American who has the courage to look at their rhetoric and actions in an honest light.

The time for BDS and selling out our nation is passed. I call on every American to proclaim loudly and clearly to the leadership of the democrat party: YOU ARE TRAITORS!

Perhaps Congress in 1798 had a good idea when they passed the Alien & Sedition Acts.
