No good can come from it. From a press-release I received from Americans Against Hate:

(Coral Springs, FL) Yesterday, a delegation from Americans Against Hate (AAH) met with Congressman Ron Klein (D-Florida) for a little over a half hour to discuss Congressman Keith Ellison’s (D-Minnesota) participation in the recently created Congressional Task Force on Anti-Semitism (CTFAS) and to ask for his removal as a member of the task force. Congressman Klein Co-Chairs CTFAS with Congressman Mike Pence (R-Indiana).

AAH displayed for Congressman Klein a number of documents showing direct contact between Congressman Ellison and radical Muslim organizations, which included the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Both MAS and CAIR have been named by the U.S. government as being part of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), a radical Islamic organization based in Egypt. CAIR, as well, has been tied to Hamas.

One of the exhibits was a part of the program from an event sponsored by the North American Imams Federation (NAIF) in November of 2006. It contained a photo of Ellison next to the photos of Al-Qaeda web designer Mazen Mokhtar and “unindicted co-conspirator” of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj.

Another exhibit showed violently anti-Jewish, anti-Christian and pro-Hamas statements from the website of the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS-Minnesota). These statements were up on the site when Congressman Ellison spoke in front of the group in May of 2007, and they were up on the site this month when he spoke at a memorial for MAS-Minnesota’s President who was killed in an auto accident in Saudi Arabia on January 26th.

AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman, who led the delegation, stated, “We are grateful that Congressman Klein gave us a forum to speak with him about this very serious matter and that he is going to follow it up with further investigation. We are now hoping that he takes the necessary action to remove Congressman Ellison from the anti-Semitism task force. No one should ever have the opportunity to become a member of an organization whose mission is to fight anti-Semitism, if that individual is involved with hate groups, especially ones that promote anti-Semitism.”

The Archbishop of Canterbury, in effect, has stated, "Thank you Hajj... may I have another?"

The Archbishop of Canterbury has today said that the adoption of Islamic Sharia law in the UK is "unavoidable" and that it would help maintain social cohesion.

Maintain Social cohesion? Or would it maintain balkanization?

Do they use incense burners nowadays in the Anglican church, or do they use crack pipes?

Rowan Williams told BBC Radio 4's World At One that the UK has to "face up to the fact" that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.

He says that Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court. He added Muslims should not have to choose between "the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty".

Dr Williams said there was a place for finding a "constructive accommodation" in areas such as marriage - allowing Muslim women to avoid Western divorce proceedings.

Yep, allow women to avoid those backward "Western" divorce proceedings in favor of the more humane Sharia courts; you know, so that women can be afforded the dignity of being stoned to death for supposed infidelity.

What a complete and utter imbecile this moron is.

Other religions enjoyed such tolerance of their own laws, he pointed out, but stressed that it could never be allowed to take precedence over an individual's rights as a citizen.

He said it would also require a change in perception of what Sharia involved beyond the "inhumanity" of extreme punishments and attitudes to women seen in some Islamic states.

A change in perception? WTF is he talking about?!? And on whose part?

A couple of years ago, Robert Ferrigno penned a book called "Prayers for the Assassin" that deals with the consequences of the eventuality of a Muslim takeover and an establishment of Sharia Law in what had been the United States (I have obtained an advance copy of Sins of the Assassin, its sequel, which I will be reviewing shortly). In the book it tells of Christians (mainly Catholics, in the case of the book) that effectively roll over and allow this to happen, and live a life of second class citizenship and/or persecution under the mullahs.

I used to think that Mr. Ferrigno was engaging in a flight of fancy.

Given the above, I'm not quite so sure, now.

Officials at Lambeth Palace told the BBC Dr Williams was in a "state of shock" and "completely overwhelmed" by the scale of the row.

Gee, ya think so? I mean, the leader of a Christian church who wants to subjugate his nation to Islam?

Where is NOW?

A Muslim girl was murdered by her father, reportedly for her refusal to wear a hijab.

Where is the outrage in the streets from this woman's sisters at NOW? A perusal of their website denotes no outrage, not even a mention of this story, nor any other story of oppression and/or torture of women at the hands of male Muslim counterparts!

Oh, they're having a bloody cow over the reinstatement of Don Imus. But of course, calling someone a "nappy-headed ho" is a much more an egregious offense than strangling a girl to death, or mutilating her genitalia. They're lobbying Congress for "hate crime" legislation, but I'll bet not one word is said about the hate crimes that are perpetrated daily against their Muslim sisters.

Where are the demonstrations in the streets? Where are the hoardes at U.C. Berkeley who protested the supposed torture practiced by the CIA? (yes, I know that waterboarding is much more heinous than murder and beheading or lifelong subjugation of women)

Where is the outrage on the Left regarding the murder of Aqsa Parvez?

Could it be that there is no political gain or agenda to be advanced in demonstrating against Islamist atrocities? Could it be that the moonbat left has a problem pointing out that which may actually give credence to the reasons behind our war against radical Islam?

Could it be that the suffering of women isn't really important to them at all?

Could it be that there must be a political payoff before they'll demonstrate about anything? Or that any outrage that they do display is contrived and calculated to get the maximum political benefit?

Nukes in the Balance...

Pervez Musharraf suspended Pakistan's constitution and deployed troops in the capital Saturday, declaring that rising Islamic extremism had forced him to take emergency measures. He also replaced the nation's chief justice and blacked out the independent media that refused to support him.

Authorities began rounding up opposition politicians, cut phone lines in Islamabad and took all but state television off air despite calls from Washington and other Western allies not to take authoritarian measures.

The U.S. called for Musharraf to restore democracy. However, the Pentagon said the emergency declaration does not affect U.S. military support for Pakistan and its efforts in the war on terrorism. Britain said it was deeply concerned.

Musharraf's leadership is threatened by an increasingly defiant Supreme Court, the reemergence of political rival and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and an Islamic movement that has spread to the capital. Analysts said the measures Saturday may only postpone his political demise.

The world better hope that Musharraf stays in power. The last thing we need is a regime that would be friendly to Iran; or worse yet, an Ayatollah Khomeni wannabee with nukes.

This situation is not good, any way you dice it.

A pipe bomb turned up in the truck of a worker at a nuclear power plant...

A nuclear power plant in Arizona was locked down Friday morning after security guards discovered a pipe bomb in a contract worker's truck, authorities said.

Plant operator Arizona Public Service called the discovery an "unusual event" and sealed off the site, with no traffic entering or leaving the grounds.

A bomb squad from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department declared the pipe bomb a "credible explosive device."

The contract worker was entering Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station at a checkpoint for a standard security inspection at the beginning of the day shift. Guards armed with automatic rifles check identification and search under the hoods of all vehicles entering the plant.

There was no danger to the plant, officials said.

"This is not a threat to the public," said Jim McDonald, a spokesman for Arizona Public Service Co. "If it had the potential to be, the security guards stopped it."

Media Legitimizes Islamic Extremists While Defaming Muslims

We already addressed the "Anti-Muslim" and "Islamophobe" aspects earlier. There are other, more subtle, but also more dangerous issues with those headlines. We cannot stress enough how important it is to draw a distinction between moderate Muslims and Muslim extremists, between Islam and Islamism. However the aforementioned headlines and articles associated with them completely ignore that distinction and mislead their readers in the process.


The infamous Nazi rallies are never described as Christian events because most Christians are disgusted with the Nazis. However, when Islamofascist organizations put out their events, it seems to be universally acceptable to describe those events as Muslim or Islamic. Why such double-standards? Why does the media shun Christian extremists, but embraces Muslim extremists? Is there a hidden agenda or just complete ignorance?


Western Muslim community and Western media must address the following issues arising from ignoring the difference between Islam and Islamism:


1. Radical Muslims are legitimized as mainstream
2. Moderate Muslims are bunched together with the radicals, which gives credence to the notion that all Muslims are radicals and gives rise to Islamophobia


We ask everyone in the media:
- If you do not understand the difference between Islam and Islamism, stop providing your opinions on the subject
- If you do understand that difference, please make it clear every time you address the subject and call everything by its proper name


Some of the favorite media questions are "where are the moderate Muslims" and "why are they silent". Well, we are right here. It's you who don't want to hear what we have to say.

It appears that a pig, right here in the United States, has been found to be spreading propaganda for another group of pigs. And not a damned thing is being done about it:

When Osama bin Laden issued his videotaped message to the American people last month, a young jihad enthusiast went online to help spread the word.

“America needs to listen to Shaykh Usaamah very carefully and take his message with great seriousness,” he wrote on his blog. “America is known to be a people of arrogance.”

Unlike Mr. bin Laden, the blogger was not operating from a remote location. It turns out he is a 21-year-old American named Samir Khan who produces his blog from his parents’ home in North Carolina, where he serves as a kind of Western relay station for the multimedia productions of violent Islamic groups.

In recent days, he has featured “glad tidings” from a North African militant leader whose group killed 31 Algerian troops. He posted a scholarly treatise arguing for violent jihad, translated into English. He listed hundreds of links to secret sites from which his readers could obtain the latest blood-drenched insurgent videos from Iraq.

His neatly organized site also includes a file called “United States of Losers,” which showcased a recent news broadcast about a firefight in Afghanistan with this added commentary from Mr. Khan: “You can even see an American soldier hiding during the ambush like a baby!! AllahuAkbar! AllahuAkbar!”

His parents apparently can't do a thing with him:

Mr. Khan, who was born in Saudi Arabia and grew up in Queens, is an unlikely foot soldier in what Al Qaeda calls the “Islamic jihadi media.” He has grown up in middle-class America and wrestles with his worried parents about his religious fervor. Yet he is stubborn. “I will do my best to speak the truth, and even if it annoys the disbelievers, the truth must be preached,” Mr. Khan said in an interview.

Well, how about taking your loser son's computer away from him, and telling him to go out and get a friggen job, instead of living in your basement?

Apparently, spreading Jihadist propaganda at a time of war is something that the cops can't do anything about, either:

While there is nothing to suggest that Mr. Khan is operating in concert with militant leaders, or breaking any laws, he is part of a growing constellation of apparently independent media operators who are broadcasting the message of Al Qaeda and other groups, a message that is increasingly devised, translated and aimed for a Western audience.

Well, seeing as how Samir "the pig-faced loser" Khan (who's so friggen brave he dare not show his face) is so intent on fomenting hatred and recruiting for the enemy, and since he takes such delight at the death of our soldiers, perhaps the good citizens of Charlotte, North Carolina could find out where Samir takes up residence, hold a nice protest and let ol Samir know that he is "less than welcome" here in the United States.


Also, leave it to the New York Times to protect yet another Islamic terrorist here in the good ol' USA.

Born in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Khan was 7 when his family moved to New York City and settled into the Queens neighborhood of Maspeth.

He mirrored his teenage peers, from their slang to their baggy pants, until August 2001 when, at age 15, he said, he attended a weeklong summer camp at a mosque in Queens, which was sponsored by a fundamentalist but nonviolent group now known as the Islamic Organization of North America (IONA).

A fundamentalist, but nonviolent group??

During MAS-ICNA’s first joint convention in Baltimore in 2002, Shaker Elsayed, then the MAS [Muslim American Society--ed] Secretary General, said about suicide bombing: “The Islamic scholars said whenever there is an attack on an Islamic state or occupation, or the honor of the Muslims has been violated, the Jihad is a must for everyone, a child, a lady and a man. They have to make Jihad with every tool that they can get in their hand.” Elsayed’s statement echoes a fatwa published by The American Muslim online edition in March 2002. In the fatwa, Fawsal Mawlawi, a close associate of Qaradawi, explained that “in martyr operations, the Muslim sacrifices his own life for the sake of performing a religious duty, which is Jihad against the enemy.”


MAS and ICNA have also drawn closer to the North American branch of a radical anti-Semitic and anti-American Pakistani organization, Tanzeem-e-Islami, which operates in the U.S. under the name Islamic Organization of North America (IONA). MAS and ICNA leaders have attended IONA events and IONA endorsed an MAS event in California in February 2007. At IONA’s official launching event in June 2004, Dr. Souheil Ghannouchi, former MAS president, said “I don’t think there is any difference” between IONA and MAS ideology.

And don't tell me he has no connection to Al Qaeda. You don't just "stumble upon" terrorist web sites and insurgent videos. You don't find them on Google.

So I have a message for the little Islamist twerp named Samir Khan: I hope you rot in hell, and that your 72 "virgins" are all 350 pound sweaty guys named bubba who each want you as their own personal "byotch."

New York's iconic Empire State Building is to be lit up green from Friday in honor of the Muslim holiday of Eid, the biggest festival in the Muslim calendar marking the end of Ramadan, officials said.

"This is the first time that the Empire State Building will be illuminated for Eid, and the lighting will become an annual event in the same tradition of the yearly lightings for Christmas and Hannukah," according to a statement.

Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month, is expected to be celebrated in New York from Friday, depending on when the new moon is sighted, and the city's tallest skyscraper will remain green until Sunday.

Built in the early 1930s, the 443-meter-tall (1,454-feet-tall) Empire State Building was first lit up with colored lighting in 1976, when red, white and blue lights were used to mark the American Bicentennial.

An estimated seven million Muslims live in the United States.

CAIR REP REFERS TO AMERICANS IN IRAQ AS “CRUSADERS”
USES SAME TERMINOLOGY AS AL-QAEDA
(Coral Springs, FL) This week, on his website, the Civil Rights Coordinator of CAIR-Los Angeles (CAIR-California), Affad Shaikh, referred to Americans in Iraq as “Crusaders.” This, while al-Qaeda has been using the same terminology to describe our American troops in Iraq.

In his piece, entitled, ‘The Crusader’s Mark,’ speaking about the United States’ war in Iraq, Shaikh wrote, “This truly reminds of the ‘occupier’ mentality. When Crusaders arrived in Muslim lands they would create these large castles, self sustained and beyond reach. They would govern from a distance in their own peace while the ravages of their injustice, war and corruptions destroyed the countryside and region.”

The crude terminology that Shaikh used in his piece has been utilized by terrorist groups, primarily al-Qaeda, to stir up hatred and recruit fighters for the purpose of producing attacks against American soldiers.

Joe Kaufman, Chairman of Americans Against Hate (AAH) and Founder of CAIR Watch, stated, “This type of language is completely unacceptable. Once again, our group calls on the members of the media to distance themselves from CAIR. Mr. Shaikh and the group he represents should be denounced for inciting hatred against those that are charged with protecting the United States.”

CAIR has a dark history of making pro-terror statements. CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad, in March of 1994, publicly stated his support for Hamas.

Nothing says "I love you" more than billy clubs and gun butts:

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Gaza's Hamas rulers clubbed and slammed rifle butts into opponents taking part in a rare protest rally Monday, seizing the cameras of journalists covering the event and raiding media offices to prevent news footage from getting out.

The Islamic militants claim they're willing to tolerate dissent, but their actions - including arresting opponents and banning public gatherings - indicate otherwise.

Hamas in Gaza routed forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah movement in five days of savage fighting in June but later declared an amnesty for former Fatah fighters.

But when Fatah and other allied groups announced plans to hold a rally Monday, Hamas banned "all demonstrations and public gatherings" that did not have special permission.

Buses carrying protesters to the Gaza City protest site were halted by Hamas guards who beat passengers, driving them away and confiscating Fatah flags. Nevertheless, about 300 protesters got past the militia cordon and demonstrated for 20 minutes, shouting "We want freedom. . . . We want to raise our voice," before dispersing.
