BREAKING NEWS: Hillary Clinton Comes out as a Mime

Hillary Clinton Comes Out as Mime

May 18, 2015 -Washington, D.C.

Former U.S. Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton disclosed via an interpreter today that she actually has been responding to media questions, but that she has discovered herself to actually be a mime.

"She said that in her heart of hearts she always knew herself to be a mime, and she now feels that it is an appropriate time in her life to come out as to who she really is," said Susyn Smyth-Morey-Elders, a spokesperson for the International Sisterhood of Womyn Mimes Local 537, and a certified mime interpreter for the Democratic Presidential hopeful. "She is currently working on developing a system of communicating that is consistent with her new-found identity."

During a follow-up conference, when asked about the unsavory characters from oppressive middle-east countries who contributed to the Clinton Foundation, Mrs. Clinton pretended to be in a box, at which point she pantomimed grabbing dollar bills out of the air.

Mrs. Clinton's husband, former president Bill Clinton, said that he supports his wife's decision. "I can't tell you how absolutely peaceful it's been at home lately. I can actually hear myself think now." Said Mr. Clinton.

I see London I see France...

Interesting, but I'm thinking the likeness of the President Elect would have been better placed on the rear end of the boxers, on the inside..

Alternatively, the following may be a product more conducive to the true value of the President Elect's planned policies:

So what would you do if Obama came into your house, little girl?

An Ice Palace Exclusive: John Kerry's Singing and Acting Debut!

Long before John Kerry's "Christmas in Cambodia" was seared, seared, I tell you--in his microbrain, John Kerry tried his hand at acting in Hollywood. The crack staff (or is it the staff on crack?) at The Ice Palace have uncovered a long-lost audition tape made in the early 1960s.

Let's take a look at it now!

Now one may argue that Mr. Kerry had a more successful career in his chosen path as politician and golddigger, but given the bungles and snafus everpresent in his political career, perhaps he should have stuck to acting.

When "Imaginary Friends" Go Too Far...

(A play in two acts)

The scene is a living room in a modest home, in a small Minneapolis suburb. June Cleaver, Ward’s liberal-leaning wife, is vacuuming, while wearing her full compliment of high heels, a flowing dress, and string of pearls. Ward Cleaver is sitting down in his recliner, relaxing after a hard day’s work, reading the Strib and cussing at Nick Coleman’s latest article. Suddenly, there’s an abrupt knock. Four bratty neighborhood kids await outside the door…

June Cleaver: (opening door) “Why hello kids—how are all of you? Would you like some campaign contributions? I baked them fresh!”

(The four children, T-Paw, Normie, Willie and A-Klo walk in the door)

T-Paw:(syrupy sweet voice) “Hello, Mrs. Cleaver! Mmmm.. gee, thanks for those contributions! Oh—Mrs. Cleaver—come here and meet Willie’s friend, Global Warming!” (T-Paw points to an empty space next to Willie)

June Cleaver: (thinking to self): “An imaginary friend. Isn’t that cute!” (then, out-loud, playing along:) “Gosh golly, T-Paw and Willie,” (looking at the empty space between them)—“Looks like you’ve got yourself quite a friend! Why—isn’t that nice!”

T-Paw: “Yep, and me and Willie are going to go to the North Pole, where Global Warming lives, an’ ‘splore!”

June Cleaver: “Well, isn’t that special! You kids better dress warm… and be back by the time the street lights are on, okay?”

T-Paw: “Okay, Mrs. Cleaver! Come on Willie, Normie and A-Klo—let’s go ‘splorin!”

(the four trot out the door and turn north; Leave it to Beaver type music in background)

Ward Cleaver: “June, do you really think you should encourage their having an imaginary friend like Global Warming?”

June Cleaver: “Ward, what can it hurt. After all, they’re just children exercising their imaginations!”

Ward Cleaver: “But what if it goes too far?”

June Cleaver: “Nonsense, Ward—what harm could kids do with an imaginary friend, anyway?”

Ward Cleaver: “Maybe you’re right, June, but I wonder…” (music out)

Act II

(A week later, The Cleavers receive another knock at their door. T-Paw, Willie, Normie and A-Klo are there with a bucket.)

T-Paw: (in a syrupy-sweet voice) “Hello, Mrs. Cleaver—My, but don’t you look wonderful!”

June Cleaver: “Why, thank you T-Paw! What can I do for you?”

T-Paw: “Well, Mrs. Cleaver, it turns out that our friend, Global Warming, isn’t very nice!”

June Cleaver: “Really, why do you say that?”

Willie: “Well, well… me, me, me an’ T-T-T-Paw went to-to-to the Nawth Pole… an- an-and Gwobal Warming started k-k-kiwwing powar beawrs an’ baby seaows and stuff!”

June Cleaver: (playing along) “You don’t say! Why the nerve…”

Normie: “Yeah, Mrs. Cleavah. That’s why we’re asking fer contributions—so we can hire a hit man to kill Gwobal Wahming! (laughs like Elmer Fudd--holds out bucket)

June Cleaver: (puzzled) “I beg your pardon?”

A-Klo: (hands on hips) “Mrs. Cleaver, All we’re asking is 40 percent of your paycheck! I mean, it’s really important that we stop Global Warming before he kills even more cute baby seals and polar bears!! :::whining, on the verge of tears::: I mean, you want to save cute baby seals and polar bears—don’t you ??” :::sniff:::

June Cleaver: “Well, of course, but..”

(Meanwhile, Mr. Cleaver, overhearing the conversation, comes to the door)

Ward Cleaver: “Now children, it was all well and good that Mrs. Cleaver and I played along with your imaginary friend, but..”

Willie: “IMAGINAWY FWIEND?!?”

A-Klo: (hands on hips—pursed lips, frown) “Yeah. What do you mean, ‘maginary?”

Ward Cleaver: “Heh—now kids, you don’t really believe in Global Warming, do you?”

Normie: “I sure do! Don’t you??!?”

Ward Cleaver: “Why, no!”

Normie: “Well—I’m gonna hold my bweath til my face turns bwue unwess you take back what you said!” (bears down, puffs cheeks and holds breath)

Ward Cleaver: Now, Normie--i

T-Paw: “Yeah, you meanie!” (T-Paw kicks Ward Cleaver in the 'nads).

Ward Cleaver: “—Oooh—hey! ::cough:: —that hurt!” :::cough:::

:::Willie starts to sob uncontrollably:::

:::Normie’s face starts to turn an iridescent array of colors::::

June Cleaver: “Ward— you made Willie cry! Take back what you said!”

Ward Cleaver: “But June!!”

June Cleaver: “Ward—they’re children! Don’t destroy their imaginations!”

A-Klo: (hands on hips) “Yeah—our ‘maginations!”

:::Normie starts teetering:::

Ward Cleaver: “But June—they want us to give them money!”

June Cleaver: “Ward—if you don’t take back what you said right now and give them some money, you’ll be cut off from The Beaver!”

Ward Cleaver: (Looks up and down at Mrs. Cleaver, turns toward children, and emits a deep sigh) “Okay kids… How much…”

Normie: “A couple-a-grand oughta do, fer stahters. (Elmer Fudd laugh)”

(Ward writes a check, grudgingly signs it, and drops it in Normie’s bucket)

T-Paw: (syrupy sweet) “Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver. How very generous of you. We’ll be back!”

(T-Paw, Willie, Normie and A-Klo skip away from the Cleaver household, bucket in tow, to the next house down the block….)

June Cleaver: "Aren’t they nice kids, Ward?"

::::Leave it to Beaver Music out:::::

Fin.

Chavez Gets PWN3D!

Time for another Happy Dance!

On a more somber note, sources close to Chavez report that Hugo's long-time mentor and lover whispered sweet words of consolation in his ear:

Though the content of the exchange remains unclear, it was believed to be Castro's own rendition of "Don't worry baby," which reportedly went a little something like this:

DON'T WORRY BABY (By Fidel Castro)

Well Hugo it's been building up inside of me
For oh I don't know how long
I don't know why
But I kept thinking
Something's bound to go wrong

But I look into your eyes,
And your ability to traumatize
And I say, "Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright

Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby

I guess I should've kept my mouth shut
When I bragged about my health care,
But I can't back down now--
Michael Moore thinks I'm Fred Astaire!

And he makes me come alive
And makes me wanna drive
When he says "Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright

Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby

And I told you, "Baby when they vote today
Just take along my love with you,"
And if you know how much they loved you
Baby nothing could go wrong with you"

But screw their vote today--
Just torture their asses as you say,
"Don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright

Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby

A Meal You May Want to Think Twice About Ordering...

Am I detecting a pattern here?

Yet another Clinton, Inc toadie has conveniently gone missing. It seems that Norman Hsu is nowhere to be found.

By the way, Does anyone know where Charlie Trie is?

Does anyone know where James Ryadi or John Huang are?

Has anyone checked Fort Marcy Park, lately?

If nothing else, if I were Norman Hsu (and I'm not), I'd be extra careful when getting on an airplane.

Or, at the very least, I'd wear a kevlar helmet.

In other words, I guess, if I were Norman Hsu (and I'm not), I'd be shittin' in my pants right now.

That is, if peristalsis is still a possibility for the guy.

I actually feel sorry for the guy...so sorry that I believe I'll break out in song...

Ed, Vince & Hsu
(Music opens in a new window--to the tune of Abraham, Martin & John)
(in the voice of Bill Clinton)

Has anybody here

Seen my old friend Ed Willey?
Can you tell me
Where he has gone
'Cos his wife was pretty hot
But it seems the good die young
I just turned around (bang)
And he was gone

Has anybody here
Seen my old friend Calvin
Can you tell me
Where he has gone
'Cos he was givin' Jocelyn trouble
But boy the good die young,
I just looked around
And he was gone (bang)

Has anybody here
Seen my old friend Norman Hsu
Can you tell me
Where he has gone
'Cos He gave us a lot of cash
From people who had none...
I just looked around
And he was gone
(swimmin' with the fishies?)
And now he's gone...

McDonald's tries new marketing strategy...

From Fox:

OTTAWA, Ill. — An Illinois 8-year-old got more than a hamburger and french fries when she opened her Happy Meal this week.

A 17-year-old employee of an Ottawa, Ill., McDonald's is out of work and facing drug charges after allegedly hiding marijuana and a lighter in the Happy Meal.

Keith Irelan and his three children went through a McDonald's drive-thru Monday night to order Happy Meals. They were on their way to meet their mother at a nearby school for a picnic, police said.

But one of the children — an 8-year-old girl — got a lighter, pipe, and bag of marijuana in her Happy Meal, according to Ottawa Police Chief Brian Zeilmann. Her father went to the police.

"To be honest, you don't expect that," Irelan told FOX Chicago affiliate WFLD-TV.

"She said 'Mom, I have a lighter in my Happy Meal,'" the girl's mother said.

The girl showed the lighter to her dad, then told him later that she got two other "toys" in her Happy Meal. One of those toys was a bag of marijuana.

[SNIP]

McDonald's employee Brandon Scott of Ottawa was fired on the spot, then arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Now that's a happy meal.

And quite a business ploy too...

Just think... you eat, get stoned, and then you go back to McDonald's for even more munchies!

A sheer stroke of genius!

They shouldn't fire that employee--hell--they should move him to upper management!

Vying for the black vote...

It seems that Sen. Hillary Clinton has been trying to compete with Obama in courting the black vote this weekend in Selma, Alabama:

SELMA, Ala. (AP) -- Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton crossed campaign paths for the first time Sunday as they paid homage to civil rights activists who helped give them the chance to break barriers to the White House.

The two senators who hope to be president linked arms with activists who 42 years ago were attacked by police with billyclubs during a peaceful voting rights march. "Bloody Sunday" shocked the nation and helped bring attention to the racist voting practices that kept blacks from the polls.

"I'm here because somebody marched for our freedom," Obama, who would become the first black president, said from the Brown Chapel AME Church where the march began on March 7, 1965. "I'm here because you all sacrificed for me. I stand on the shoulders of giants."

Not to be outdone in the hunt for black votes, Hillary Clinton also spoke in Selma at a church three blocks away and brought a secret weapon. Three days before the march anniversary, her campaign announced that her husband, the former president, would accompany her and be inducted into Selma's Voting Rights Hall of Fame. Bill Clinton is one of the most admired men in the black community, sometimes referred to as the first "black" president by influencial black leaders.

And, it just so happened that the "first black President" gave his wife some pointers on how to better fit in with the bloc:

After leading the crowd in rousing renditions of JayZ's Big Pimpin' and Missy Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On," Mrs. Clinton promised that if elected, she would "Get down wild wid' da homeys staight up."

Mrs. Clinton then went on to tell the crowd that she always liked rap music, especially that "half dollar guy;" and that contrary to the story that she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, Mrs. Clinton regaled the crowd with the factoid that her parents actually named her after famous rapper "Tupac Shakur."

When someone in the audience reminded her that Tupac was actually born in 1971, nearly 23 years after she was, Hillary retorted, "Well, my parents were ahead of the game, you know whad' I'm sayin, Homes?"

Hillary's next campaign stop is reportedly going to be in Iowa. Her handlers tell our Ice Palace reporters that in order to bond with those in "flyover country," Mrs. Clinton plans to artificially inseminate a cow, dance the cotton-eyed Joe, sing "Stand by Your Man," and tell Iowans that her parents actually named her after her family's old gray mare.

**********UPDATE*********

Reader Aristophanes was wondering if Hillary was also going to try to suck up appeal to the soccer mom crowd...

Well, the crack Ice Palace staff (or was that the Ice Palace staff on crack?) got hold of an advance copy one of Hillary's future publicity stills:

Coming soon: Hillary tries to appeal to the S & M voting bloc.

(On second thought, that should be a no-brainer for her).

***UPDATE 2*****

Chicago Ray has another great post outlining more of Hillary's Histerics...
