A hero is laid to rest...

I attended the funeral of a hero today. In terms of describing the character of Sgt. Joshua Hanson, I could pay no better tribute than that put out by the family:


The Patriot Guard Riders, at least 200 of them, were there as escorts and flag bearers..



Since there were over 700 in attendance, way too many for a procession, school buses were on hand to take mourners to the cemetary... The Patriot Guard riders were at the cemetary to greet the mourners



Joshua's comrades in arms render a 21-gun salute... and then "Taps" is played...

Just suffice it to say, All gave some; and some gave all...
