Obamatons ©....(post bumped from February 27, 2008)

This is really scary, folks:

I see Obamatons © . They're everywhere. And they don't even know how ethereally stupid they are.

Vote for the empty suit.... vote for the empty suuuuuiiit!

***UPDATE***

This video (and as the title suggests, this original post) was made during election year, 2008. As you can see, no one above was able to cite one word of substance as to why they would vote for their beloved Obamessiah.

And the more things 'change,' the more they stay the same the worse they get.

Tasteless, Offensive (and true?)

This week's New Yorker Cover:

It is said that all good humor/satire has a grain of truth to it. If not true in a literal sense, perhaps there are yet a few grains of truth to be had.

Obama, Inc?

It appears that Obama's alleged birth certificate has been deemed a forgery, calling to question whether Obama was born in the United States, which would be a Constitutional prerequisite for his ability to legally run for President.

A petition for the Obama campaign to release a paper copy of his birth certificate was allegedly met with a veiled/not so veiled threat against the petition originator's family from an "Obama supporter," which forced the originator of the petition to shut down the site.

This suggests that the Obama campaign, which has taken Clinton, Inc., head on, is not afraid to utilize Clintonian tactics in dealing with detractors.

Just where is that birth certificate, Barack "Hussein" Obama?

Friday, June 27, 2008

True, albeit a bit too optimistic, IMO.

I'm not even sure we'll have that after he's through with us.

Thank you sir, may I have another?

Think he'll show them where the silverware is, too?

This. Guy. Is. Dangerous.

Obama: The truth hurts.

The list of what we can no longer criticize about Barack Hussein-- (oops) -- Obama continues. Even if it's the truth. Now it just so happens that whatever his wife says is beyond reproach:
Earlier, Obama told critics in an interview aired on ABC's "Good Morning America" to "lay off my wife."

The Illinois senator was responding to an online ad run by the Tennessee GOP that, during a four-minute video, replays six times Michelle Obama's comment that "for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country." Michelle Obama has clarified her remark, saying she meant she is proud of the public's engagement in this year's political process. Obama called the ad "just low class."

Obama said that if he wins the nomination, Republicans "can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record. But, he added, "if they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful, because I find unacceptable the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family."
This would be fair enough if Michelle Obama didn't insert herself and her words as part and parcel of her husband's campaign. But in that very same interview, Michele Obama did just that:
In the joint interview, Michelle Obama said, "We're trusting that the American voters are ready to talk about the issues." She also denied speculation that she has ruled out a place by Clinton on her husband's ticket.

"There's no way that I would say 'absolutely not' to one of the most successful and powerful and groundbreaking women on this planet," Michelle Obama said. Empathizing with her as someone who raised "a phenomenal daughter" while in politics, she said, "I think the world of Hillary Clinton," and added, "I know how hard, just in the little bit of exposure I've had to this, what she's had to deal with and what she's accomplished."
Word to Michelle Obama: If you can't take the political heat, then get the hell in the kitchen and bake some cookies.

Obama: "The buck never got here."

Read this story on Obama's tendencies to blame the help for all his woes. Here's but a snippet:

In a March 2008 interview with the Chicago Sun-Times to answer questions about Tony Rezko, Obama was asked about the fact that Obama had told the newspaper in November 2006 that he had never been asked to do anything to advance Rezko's business interests. But the Sun-Times had subsequently learned about a October 28, 1998 letter Obama wrote to city and state housing officials on behalf of a housing project for seniors that Rezko was working on.

The letter, Obama said, "was essentially a form letter of the sort that I did all time. And that I wasn’t, by the way, aware of.”

A reporter asked: You weren't aware that he was associated with the project?

Responded Obama: "I wasn't even aware that we wrote the letter. The answer that I gave at the time was accurate as far as I knew...This was one of many form letters, or letters of recommendation we would send out constantly for all sorts of projects. And my understanding is that our letter was just one of many. And I wasn’t a decision maker in any of this process.”

The Sun-Times also pointed out that in November 2006 Obama estimated that Rezko had raised somewhere between $50,000 and $60,000 for him during his political career.

But since that answer, Obama has given back almost $160,000 in Rezko-related contributions.

"The original estimate was based on, I asked my staff to find what monies they attributed to Rezko, and this was the figure given to me," Obama said.

Blaming others for your own misfortunes, gaffes and mis-steps will only get you so far. For the better part of a year, Barack Obama was held above criticism by the larger media, and was thought to be the democratic "pure as the wind-driven snow" golden child. But the more the truth about the "real Obama" comes out, the more the electorate will realize that the "golden child" they thought they were getting was in reality nothing but costume jewelry.

Obama's "end game."

My friend, Chicagoray, has found a most disturbing quote by Obama that should send shivers down the spine of every freedom-loving American. It appears that Obama wants to engage in a "global test" before we are allowed to meet our energy needs:

This, from a speech in Oregon; Oh--what the hell was I thinking--cue the music first!

Pitching his message to Oregon's environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to "lead by example" on global warming, and develop new technologies at home which could be exported to developing countries.

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.

I'll let that statement stand on its own merits, Komrades, or lack thereof.

Methinks thou dost protest too loudly...

Bush didn't name names, yet Obama, Hillary, and the rest of the fifth column got all hot and bothered.

The obviously guilty consciences that have arisen from the Obama camp wouldn't have anything to do with what Obama has said, would it?
"It's conceivable that there are those in the Arab world who say to themselves, 'This is a guy who spent some time in the Muslim world, has a middle name of Hussein and appears more worldly and has called for talks with people, and so he's not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush,'"

The shoe fits alright. A little too well for their liking, perhaps, but it fits.

As is evidenced by the hysterics on the DNC side, sometimes the truth does indeed hurt.

Obama: Hamas' choice.

From Al Jazeera:

Pay special attention to the graphic drawn at the end of the video.

With support from terrorists here, here, and here, don't you think that it's a bit more than coincidence that at the very least, Obama's policies are attractive to those who make it their raison d'etre to visit terror and mayhem on innocent people?

Friday, May 09, 2008

Perhaps he got the U.S. confused with the number of Heinz varieties...

"57 states with one left to go"

Then again, perhaps Obama was speaking about 57 different mental states... judging by the video, he appears to have made his most recent appearance (and has since taken up residence) in the State of Psychosis.

And the man has the gall to suggest that McCain is the one who is "losing his bearings?"

(h/t Powerline)

P.S.--Obama suggests that his staff wouldn't allow him to visit Alaska or Hawaii.

Aside from the fact that the residents of Alaska and Hawaii no doubt owe Obama's staff a debt of gratitude, this nonetheless conjures up a frightening picture of the future President Obama:
"Well, I wanted to visit the Middle East to broker that deal with the Iranians, but my staff wouldn't let me go."

Or, to add a reductionist twist: "I wanted to go to the playground, but my mommy said I couldn't go!"

And he expects us to believe that he has what it takes to be "commander in chief?"

Geesh--some people's kids.

Channeling Booker T...

Regarding "Poverty/Race Pimps" Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and now, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright:

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."

No doubt McCain will want us to be quiet about this, too...

Obama and more ties to terrorism... via Michelle Malkin and Powerline.

Yeah, I know John. Never. Never question the guy's judgment.

And the party faithful again scratch their heads.

Now here's how I'd like to see the DNC primaries settled...

Actually, given the level of credibility coming from both camps, the above scenario doesn't seem like much of a stretch.

McCain wimps out on Obama ad... NC GOP to follow suit? (Updated & Bumped)

An anti-Obama ad whose only crime was to tell the truth, was decried by John McCain, who asked the North Carolina Republican Party to pull the ad; apparently, because John McCain eschews controversy, even legitimate controversy that legitimately questions the judgment of a rival presidential contender.

Originally, North Carolina GOP officials said the ad will run regardless, but already a TV station has pulled the ad, and reportedly the NC GOP officials are beginning to get cold feet.

Time to contact the North Carolina GOP and give them some encouragement (email@ncgop.org)

My letter (email) is as follows:
I am a GOP alternate delegate from the Great State of Minnesota, and I'm asking you to NOT PULL THE OBAMA AD!!!

Someone needs to develop some cajones to tell the truth about our democrat POTUS candidates, and the national party is too lilly-livered to do anything (except, of course, attack our own President).

Screw the "new tone." The American people need (and deserve) the unblemished truth.

Press on!

****UPDATE & Bump 4/25/08, 6:25pm****

McCain says that the North Carolina GOP is "out of touch" for running an ad, that tells the truth.

Apparently Senator McCain believes he doesn't need the North Carolina GOP to win.

But for a man who's literally made an entire political career out of thumbing his nose at conservative Republicans, could we really expect anything different?

I'm not at all feeling good about the advancement of conservatism via this upcoming election. Any which way you slice it, we're screwed, If only by a matter of degrees.

Is this all they freakin' got?

Older than? And that is substantive in what manner? Is that all the lib-tards could come up with to pin on John McCain?

Well, how about if we (rightly) say that has less intelligence than a or a (at least a knows when to keep quiet, and unlike , at least a knows which way to spin); and given the fact that hangs with known terrorists and racists, he probably has less patriotism for America than does .

And while we're at it, we can (rightfully) say that has less ability to tell the truth than (And unlike , at least learned his lesson).

In summary, given the obvious character flaws of the dem candidates for POTUS, I'll take John McCain's age and experience any day, thank you.

More "Hope" from the Obama camp...(UPDATED & Bumped)

More "hope" that people will see him and his campaign for what it is, that is; for it looks like the malady known as BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) is slowly but surely migrating its way to MDS (McCain Derangement Syndrome).

Winged Hussar has a post that points us to a page (now no longer existent) of an Obama blogger (from Obama's site) who thought it would be cute for Sen. John McCain to "pay a deserved visit to the undertaker."

No Runny Eggs caught this screenshot before the post was finally taken down; the page was still up at 8:00am this morning when I visited it.

(click for full size)

I'll let their own words speak for themselves, thank you.

Note that it was first posted on February 20, 2008, and not taken down until today, April 11, 2008.

Note also that the Obama campaign has complete editorial control of what appears or doesn't appear on the blog.

Between this and Jeremiah Wright (not to mention Barack's lovely and gracious wife, Michelle), can't you feel the love just emanating from that "campaign of hope," folks?

****UPDATE****

Macker has yet another example of an Obama nutter exhorting the Jews to vote for Obama or else!!!

In light of these revelations, I think that the Obama campaign needs a new theme song...

There was an old band in the early 1970s, the New Seekers, who did a Coca Cola Commercial....

~I'd like to fill the world with hope and furnish it with looooove!~

C'mon, Obama supporters--sing along!!!

***UPDATE*** 4/12/08, 11:40am

Yet even more love and hope from the Obama Camp...

“Our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there’s not evidence of that in their daily lives,” he said. “You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are going to regenerate and they have not.

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

To enhance your multimedia experience, before playing the video, set the tone with this midi of Can you Feel the Love Tonight"

How much "hope and change" and "bringing the nation together" can one man stand? O Obama--you da man!

"That dere Obama campaign blowed up real good, din'it?"

After 20 years?

From here:

Obama Would Have Left if Wright Stayed

WASHINGTON (AP) - White House hopeful Barack Obama suggests he would have left his Chicago church had his longtime pastor, whose fiery anti-American comments about U.S. foreign policy and race relations threatened Obama's campaign, not stepped down.

``Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn't have felt comfortable staying at the church,'' Obama said Thursday during a taping of the ABC talk show, ``The View.'' The interview will be broadcast Friday.

Let's see now-- at first Obama didn't have a clue, then he admitted he did have a clue, and denounced Wright, but then he said that he couldn't disown Wright any more than his now famously-racist (thanks to Obama) grandmother, but now he says he'd have left the church that he had attended for 20 years if Wright had not retired.

Everybody got that straight?

I didn't think so.

Pretty hard to tell the difference between left and Wright.

Grandma Got Run Over by Obama...(bumped from Mar 21)

CHORUS:
Grandma got run over by Obama
On his way to Denver the other eve.
You might say Obama's not a racist,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

He'd been taking so much flak now,
From being buds with Pastor Wright.
Who spread his hate-speech 'bout our nation,
Even though Obama's mom was white.

When we found her the next morning,
At the scene of the attack
She had "racist" tattooed on her forehead,
And Obama's footprints 'cross her back.

CHORUS

Now we're so proud of ol' Obama,
He'd explained it oh so well.
There's race problems in this country
But even Grandma's racist
so what the hell! (Refrain)

It's not a campaign without Grandma,
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder
Who's the next family member he'll attack! (HE'LL ATTACK!)

CHORUS

I've warned all my friends and
neighbors,
Better watch out for yourselves.
They should never vote for POTUS,
A guy who won't wear flags on his lapel.

Sing it, Grandpa!

CHORUS

Update: I got the idea for and immediately wrote this after I saw the title of Matt Abe's post on True North. As the body of the message was hidden, I hadn't seen that he had already done a fine parody. My apologies to Matt Abe.

Looks like Obama's church picked yet another winner...

(emphases mine) CHICAGOThe new pastor of Barack Obama’s church delivered a defiant defense of its retiring reverend Sunday, comparing media coverage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to a modern-day lynching that resembles Jesus’ death at the hands of the Romans.

In a sunrise Easter sermon, Rev. Otis Moss III never mentioned Wright by name, but implied that his mentor, who has delivered sermons in which he likened the U.S. to the Ku Klux Klan and declared it damned for its “state-sponsored terrorism,” is facing the same challenges Jesus did.”No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching,” Moss said.
Comparing Jeremiah Wright to the fate of Jesus Christ?

Last time I checked, Jesus Christ didn't advocate for the annihilation of the Jews. Jesus forgave the Jews.

If Rev. Jeremiah Wright was the victim of a modern day "lynching," the "lynching" was done by his own hand, and by his own rope.

'Nuff said.
