MIDLAND, Texas, Oct. 10 /Christian Wire Service/ -- CAA learned, Mr. Hua Huiqi (see photo) is facing arrest at any moment today. This morning, about 7-8 self claimed police from Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau rushed into Hua's home and attempted to arrest him with a summon note. They claim they did this because Hua was accused providing help to a Christian lady Sun Xiaodi from Gansu province. Sun went to Beijing trying to make an appeal to Beijing government for the religious persecution she and her house church have been facing, but she was kidnapped by Beijing secret police on April 28, 2005.Mr. Hua asked Rev. Bob Fu, president of CAA, to make an urgent appeal to the international community and the Beijing Public Security authority to intervene on his behalf.

Christ said, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

It is unfortunate that there remains evil in the world that makes living the above scripture a reality.
