Wow--a whopping 13%...think Bush is responsible...

I just heard on the radio and had it confirmed here that only 13 percent of those polled blame Bush for the aftermath of Katrina:
Respondents also disagreed widely on who is to blame for the problems in the city following the hurricane -- 13 percent said Bush, 18 percent said federal agencies, 25 percent blamed state or local officials and 38 percent said no one is to blame. And 63 percent said they do not believe anyone at federal agencies responsible for handling emergencies should be fired as a result.
So much for the bang for their political buck for the dems over the politicization of this disaster. The dems playbook of character assassination and naysaying that had served them well for the past 40 years has lately come back to bite them in the arse time and time again. Far from the days of having monopolistic control over a monolithic media machine, they are now faced with something that they have no clue how to deal with: an informed electorate. Much akin to using a buggy whip to try to drive a maserati, their trite, tired tactics are wearing thin on the American electorate. President Clinton actually said it best, when he stated, "One definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting different results." By that definition, one may very well posit that the leadership of the DNC and their policymaking machine would do well to visit here, get fitted, and then check in here for an extended stay.
