TWINS WIN--TIGERS LOSE!!--TWINS TAKE DIVISION TITLE!!!
Minnesota has NEVER been in sole possession of first place the whole season--til today--the last game of the season!! (They were tied for first in the final week, but if the tie remained, Detroit would have taken the Title due to their having won more team series)
The Tigers got swept against a 100+ loss team in the KC Royals.
The "Comeback Kids," after being down by as many as 11 games earlier in the season, will have at least one series with home field advantage--a great circumstance, since the Twins have the best at-home record in the Major Leagues!
As I have predicted, the Twins will go to the Big Dance, and take the whole enchilada!
