On Hatch's loss...

Speculation is running rampant regarding the reasons for Mike Hatch's inability to catch the Governor's chair last Tuesday.

So what does a Minnesota State Attorney General do when faced with a loss for an office he's wanted for most of his adult life? Simple. He throws his running mate under the bus.

Hatch pins loss partly on E85 error

Defeated DFL gubernatorial candidate Mike Hatch has boiled his loss down to three factors, including his running mate's late-campaign inability to answer a question about a blend of ethanol during a swing through greater Minnesota.

Hatch gives his election analysis in a letter sent to supporters Saturday. The attorney general led much of the campaign, but came up about 20,000 votes short of Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty in the end.

Yep, Mike Hatch's latest panhandling letter points fingers at everyone but himself.

Of course, Hatch's loss would have nothing to do whatsoever that he's an egotistical, self-centered, domineering creep. Would it?

Naaaaaahhhh.
