Terrorist-Supporting CAIR Lectures "Tolerance" to St. Cloud Schools
You know, I wonder if CAIR has anything to say about their support of the hostile living environment engendered in the middle east and other parts of the world via their funneling of money to terrorists?(AP) — ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Cloud school district and a Minnesota Islamic civil rights group that filed a complaint against the district say they are considering issuing a joint statement to the community.
The statement from the school district and the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations would say they have been partners in working through issues in the schools.
The St. Cloud Times reports that after a meeting on Friday, CAIR also agreed to consider writing a second letter to federal Department of Education saying the same thing.
Last week, CAIR filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education claiming that Muslim students confront a hostile learning environment in St. Cloud schools.
Later that month, on September 25, 2001, CAIR changed the link to explicitly ask persons to “Donate through the Holy Land Foundation.” And in addition, CAIR added a new link to its site, soliciting persons to “Donate through the Global Relief Foundation.”And they (CAIR) have the temerity to turn around and complain about an alleged 'hostile learning environment' in St. Cloud public schools?
The Global Relief Foundation, like the Holy Land Foundation, was soon to be shut down by the U.S. government on terrorism related charges. As stated by the Treasury Department, “The Global Relief Foundation has connections to, has provided support for, and has provided assistance to Usama Bin Ladin, the al-Qaeda Network, and other known terrorist groups.”
At the time of the Holy Land Foundation’s closure, on December 4, 2001, CAIR immediately took the Holy Land Foundation link off of its site. And less than a week after the Global Relief Foundation’s December 14, 2001 closure, CAIR removed that group’s link as well.
Just as was the case with the Flying Imams, this is just one more in a series of attempts by CAIR to bully institutions for the long term goal of accepting and/or downright instituting Sharia law, and into bullying institutions via political correctness and 'tolerance' to overlook suspicious activities by CAIR and those they support.
I have no problem with opening a dialogue with a representative with a local mosque in terms of building positive relationships between people.
But having CAIR as your spokesman is a bit like having Adolph Hitler lecture to people on how to be tolerant to Jews and homosexuals.
CAIR has direct, proven links to supporting terrorists who murder people. At the very least, they should be the last ones to be lecturing others about tolerance. And for certain, they shouldn't be ANYWHERE near our schools and our children.
