"Black Sites" Leak leaves a black mark on some senators' priorities

This from here:
Lawmakers from both parties immediately expressed misgivings about the request (for a bicameral investigation). Democrats pounced on it, suggesting that if the GOP leaders believe the disclosure of information on secret prisons deserves to be investigated, so does the leak of inaccurate intelligence on Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction and White House officials identifying Plame as a covert CIA operative. (emphases added)
Give it a friggen rest, will you, you partisan pieces of Krap! Here we have a leak of covert prisons where we are hopefully extracting intelligence (and probably have been all along) important to our security (and could very well be a main reason we have escaped terrorist attacks on our shores since 9/11); and Pelosi opens her partisan piehole about a non-issue and some 2004 democrat talking points!!
"There is plenty to investigate about the Bush administration's use and misuse of intelligence," said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). "The American people deserve the truth."
Yes, the American people do deserve to know the truth, Ms. Pelosi. The truth that your party, devoid of ideas, has no problem with stooping to cheap political attacks to the detriment of our national security.

And, of course, the ever-present cadre of RINOS weighs in with:

Rep. Christopher Shays (R-Conn.) said investigating the source of the prison article would be acceptable, as long as Congress also investigates the secret prisons themselves.
And while we're at it, Mr. Shays, perhaps we can tell Al Qaeda the combinations to the locks on our nuclear weapons storage houses, and while we're at it, where we hide the good silverware.

Will somebody buy these idiots a clue already?

I don't give a rat's arse where these leaks came from. They are dangerous leaks, and whomever leaked the information, R or D should be hauled off to Leavenworth for an extended stay, and be offered to take a seat on Old Sparky for good measure.

And all these bozos know how to do is play politics.
