Hollywood in cahoots with Big Tobacco... Sue the bastards!

This from here:
Adolescents with a high exposure to smoking in movies are far more likely to try lighting up than teens with more limited exposure, a new study suggested Monday.

“We found that as the amount of exposure to smoking in movies increased, the rate of smoking also increased,” Dr. James Sargent, lead researcher of the study and a professor of pediatrics at Dartmouth Medical School, said.
and
“Part of the reason that exposure to movie smoking has such a considerable impact on adolescent smoking is because it is a very strong social influence on kids ages 10 to 14,” Dr. Sargent said.

“Because movie exposure to smoking is so pervasive, its impact on this age group outweighs whether peers or parents smoke or whether the child is involved other activities, like sports.”
In response to this, the Ice Palace calls on Mike Hatch to file a class action lawsuit against Hollywood moviemakers and motion picture stars, for the short-and long-term health consequences of teens who take up smoking as a direct result of Hollywood films. What's good for the goose, should certainly be good for the gander. It is time for Big-Money stars, directors, and producers in Hollywood to be accountable for the serious health hazards that they pose to our children! (Filed under Moonbat Adventures)
