What do you get when you gather a bunch of partisan left-wing democrats at a funeral?

Why a campaign rally, of course!

I'm hearing Rush comment on the Coretta Scott King funeral.. Unfortunately, I'm not now privvy to the proceedings, but I hear tell that it's turning into a Wellstone memorial-like free for all! Among the luminaries (who, if they were bulbs on a chandelier, would shed about as much light as a brick) to Wellstone-ize the proceedings was none other than one of the dems best and brightest, Jimmy Carter, who is using the occasion of Coretta Scott-King's funeral to bemoan the NSA terrorist surveillance "scandal"!! (never mind that the administration of the brother of one democrat senator present in the audience, for purely political reasons, ordered the wiretaps of Dr. Martin Luther King himself)

I do have a feeling that if the good Dr. Martin Luther King was alive today, he may have indeed amended his "I Have a Dream" address as follows:

I have a dream! That every danged moonbat will quit perverting my message to mean that I favor the the separation of people based on color.

I have a dream! That every moonbat will quit invoking my name to further a socialist agenda that has, in the course of history, ruined more lives than there are stars in the heavens.

I have a dream--that moonbats will quit using a solemn occasion such as a funeral to shamelessly promote their flawed, failed agenda.

And, after having this dream accomplished, when equality of opportunity is truly based not on the color of skin but on the content of character, and the liberal socialist moonbat agenda is summarily placed into the ash heap of history, that we will then, and only then, be able to stand upon that mountaintop and finally proclaim to the world,

"Free at last!!!
