Some things never change....

(CNSNews.com) - Academy Award-winning actor Sean Penn said in a Huffington Post blog entry this week that the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, is a “warm” and “friendly man” with a “robust sense of humor,” who daily “risks” his own life for his country in ways former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney “could never imagine.”

Penn also wrote that conservative talk radio hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity “hate” the principles upon which America was founded.

First of all, tell me, Mr. Penn--in your drug-induced coma, did you ever stop to really think about the "principles" under which this country was founded? In your star-struck hero-worship stupor of your god Hugo Chavez, take a moment, if you would, to ponder which America looks more like the principles of our founding fathers: Rush Limbaugh's and Dick Cheney's America, or Barack Obama's and Hugo Chavez' version of what they'd like America to look like.

And speaking of your boy Hugo Chavez... warm and friendly, my ass.

I'm almost done with Glazov's book; which continues to be pertinent beyond anyone's wildest imagination. I'm looking forward to his promised interview here on The Ice Palace, which should be taking place within the next week.
