Disruptions in the Force?

The Duluth Tribune, via AP, reports that in the Minnesota Senate, a total of seven democrat incumbents are retiring, vs. two republicans.  In the Minnesota House, the results are less encouraging:  thirteen republicans are retiring, with only six democrats calling it quits.

At a time when the balance of power between the two houses is so close, these retirements will present with a very interesting November, to say the least.
