WRONG, Mr. Rove!
Karl, you're so wrong here I could just spit nails.
WASHINGTON
Presidential adviser Karl Rove blamed the war in Iraq on Monday for dragging down President Bush's job approval ratings in public opinion polls. "People like this president," Rove said. "They're just sour right now on the war."
Rove said that Bush's likeability ratings are far higher than his approval ratings. "There is a disconnect" because of the Iraq conflict, Rove told the American Enterprise Institute.
Like I said in an earlier post today, there's a good 43 (give or take) percent of the population of the United States who will hate Bush, simply because there is an ( R ) next to his name. The war in Iraq, although it is admittedly not wine and roses (what war is?) is one of Bush's strong points among the people who count the most to Republicans this November --his base.
Mr. Rove and President Bush--we are 100% in support of yours (and our troops') efforts in Iraq.
Get a handle on our borders; get a handle on getting people who don't belong here out of here (and keeping them out), and you'll see the ol' approval numbers snap back like a tightly wound rubber band on steroids.
GADS--and you wonder why Republicans are worried about November?
Get a grip on reality, will you?
I feel like I'm watching Wheel of Fortune, and I'm getting mad at the moron who guesses a "z" to fill in the word POTATOE_.
Vanna, can you sell Mr. Rove a clue?
I sure as hell hope the President doesn't need one as well.
