To put things in perspective...

Speaking of the wishful thinking being promoted as reality by the dinosaur media, El Rushbo has some interesting facts in comparing the media's quagmire-like Iraq rhetoric with some damned statistics:
...American Deaths over the Last Three Years Put in Perspective:
Auto Accidents: 120,000
Falling Down: 45,000
Poisoning: 27,000
Drowning: 12,000
War in Iraq: 2,300

Number of Anti-War Protestors in NYC on Sunday: 200

Oh, yes.. I was watching the local news on the Number 5 last night when they stated there were "hundreds" of students at St. Cloud State who staged the "walkout" yesterday. In actuality, there were around 100. What KSTP news neglected to mention was the fact that there were was the following:
About 15 students staged a counter-demonstration, holding signs saying they supported the troops and passed around a petition for students to pledge to do the same.
Now I realize that 15 against 100 is pretty small. But you can also take it to the bank that if there were 100 students carrying signs saying "Support our Troops" and three moonbats carrying "NO WAR" signs, that those three would nonetheless get the brunt of the coverage.
