Just another democrat party hack...

Oberstar Is Co-Sponsoring Measure “That Could Lead To The Impeachment Of President George W. Bush.”

“Eighth District Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.) has joined 28 other members of Congress in co-sponsoring a measure to investigate charges that could lead to the impeachment of President George W. Bush.”
(Marshall Helmberger, “Oberstar Co-Sponsors Call For Bush Impeachment Committee In House,” Ely Timberjay, March 20, 2006)

Oberstar Backed Measure Would Establish Impeachment Committee.
“The measure, known as HR 635, would establish a select committee to investigate alleged manipulation of intelligence by the administration as it made its case for invading Iraq. ‘Basically, the decision to go to war by the Bush administration was based on information that was not factual,’ said Oberstar spokesperson Mary Kerr. ‘Congress was misled by the administration and the American people were misled.’” (Marshall Helmberger, “Oberstar Co-Sponsors Call For Bush Impeachment Committee In House,” Ely Timberjay, March 20, 2006)

A statement by the Minnesota Republican Party:
...

“With his irresponsible and reckless call for an impeachment committee, Jim Oberstar has joined the far-left fringe of his party. After over thirty years in Washington, it’s clear Jim Oberstar is growing more and more out of touch with his constituents with each passing decade.

“When you’ve been in Washington for as long as Jim Oberstar has, it’s bound to change you. Unfortunately for the residents of the 8th District, Jim Oberstar has changed for the worse.”

-Ron Carey, Chairman of the Republican Party of Minnesota

In the cute vernacular espoused by the left-winged moonbat, "Hey hey, ho-ho--Jim Oberstar's got to go!
